Take
the A428 from Northampton towards Bedford. Pass under the
A43/A45 Flyover, also known as the Barnes Meadow Roundabout and head
towards 'The Lakes' - home of Northamptonshire County Council, and
Brackmills Industrial Estate northern entrance. 100 metres
after leaving the inter-change you will cross over the River Nene.
To the right you will see Bedford Road Sluice and on the on the
eastern bank you will see the Nene Whitewater Centre building - home
to Northampton Rowing Club. Behind this building is the
Boatstore - a three bay steel clad single storey building. To get to
the building continue on the A428 passing by the Courtyard Marriott
Hotel on your left to next roundabout and turn right. Immediately turn right
at the mini-roundabout and follow the
private road into the main car park. Report either to the Boatstore or the Nene Whitewater Centre reception
